Finance Committee

Open only to REALTOR® Members. Each will serve staggered 3-year terms.

The purpose of this committees is to:

  • Review and monitor the finances of the association and MLS,
  • Approve the annual budget for WRAR and MLS, and
  • Review and monitor the investments of both corporations

Professional Standards & Grievance Committee

Professional Standards & Grievance Committee

Open only to REALTOR® Members. The purpose of this committee is to:

  • Reviews ethics and arbitration requests,
  • Determine if a hearing is warranted, and
  • Does not mediate or arbitrate business disputer.
  • Hold a hearing on Ethics and Arbitration matters,
  • Determine if an Ethics or Arbitration violation has occurred, and
  • Impose discipline if a violation occurred.

Global Network

Mission

To promote global investment in the region's economic interests and establish mutually beneficial partnerships with global industry counterparts by providing global centric education, training, and networking opportunities to REALTOR® members.

Successful global business councils and their parent associations act as educational outlets and as REALTOR® driven community groups, operating under the philosophy that growth in REALTOR® business spurs the community's economic development. A strong global business council will foster and create multicultural business opportunities by forging relationships among REALTORS®, cultural associations, attorneys, tax professionals, and other local business entities that are involved with global business and clients.

 

Membership and Recruitment:
The Cape Fear REALTORS® Global Alliance (CFRGA) comprised of REALTOR® and Affiliate Partner members of CFR; recruited to expand the diversity of perspectives and global cultural and business representation.

The CFRGA is led by a Chair and Vice-Chair, appointed by the CFR President and President-Elect, respectively, and comprised of up to 10 additional members at large from the CFR membership.

CFRGA and its programming will be promoted to members in various CFR communications, including Broker Briefing, Kickstart/Orientation presentations, and committee meetings, to both, create awareness of and recruit members to the CFRGA.

 

Programs:

Global Education Session: Each year, the CFRGA will host a lecture or panel of experts to discuss topics of global industry or trends.

CIPS Course: CFRGA will encourage its members to obtain the CIPS designation and host the course at any available opportunity.

Global Networking (social) event: To foster cooperation with other globally oriented groups, CFRGA will organized events throughout the year.

 

Outreach

The CFRGA should form partnerships with other organizations and professional groups that have similar goals and missions, fostering collaboration and allowing the real estate industry to drive the growth of the community at large/ The CFRGA should collaborate with and include neighboring REALTOR® associations with shared interests in Global programming, including but not limited to BCAR and Longleaf Pine REALTORS®

Business Skills Workgroup

The purpose of this committee is to:

  • Promote learning as a life-long habit for REALTORS®,
  • continue providing our members with information on legal issues while keeping them current through the use of periodic legal updates, and
  • continue providing risk management/risk-shifting information for all members.

Mission Statement

 

It is the mission of the Cape Fear REALTORS® Property Management Newtwork to bring together entities within the Association that practice property management. This will be done through sharing ideas and knowledge, providing a platform to voice concerns, practicing risk reduction, continuing quality service to clients through education, communicating with other property managers and enhancing the referral network.

Purpose:

  • To maintain a dialogue with other Associations to work on matters of interest to property managers
