Willetts Appointed to National Flood Insurance Program Implementation PAG

WILMINGTON, NC - Patrice Willetts has been appointed as one of two NC REALTORS® to serve on NAR’s NFIP Implementation Presidential Advisory Group (PAG). NAR President Steve Brown made the announcement in an email to participants on April 11. This presents an opportunity for North Carolina to have a significant voice on this national issue and future regulations.

DOT Updates Members on Area Projects

April 10, 2014

WILMINGTON, NC – Members crammed the third floor at WRAR headquarters to enjoy lunch while learning what the NC Department of Transportation (DOT) is planning for 2014-15. The luncheon, sponsored by Alpha Mortgage, featured Karen E. Fussell, PE, Division 3 Engineer. Division Three includes Brunswick, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender, and Sampson counties. She was assisted by Engineer Patrick Riddle.

She began the presentation with the R-3601 Causeway Project in Leland that will widen US 17/74/76 from Village Road to US 412. From there she covered most major projects in the area including the Military Cutoff Extension, I-140 completion in Brunswick County, and Hampstead by-pass.
