WILMINGTON, N.C. (September 11, 2015) – On Wednesday, September 9, 2015, the Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS® (WRAR) announced its election results at its Annual Meeting. With 150+ members in attendance at the organization’s ballroom located on Sir Tyler Drive, Realtor Neal Johnson with Network Real Estate was declared next year’s Vice President.
Johnson (pictured left below) will also serve as Multiple Listing Service (MLS) President in 2017 and WRAR President in 2018. The three-year leadership commitment gives Johnson an incredible opportunity to apply his experience and knowledge in addressing several concerns for local homeowners and the real estate industry.
“I am truly grateful to be a part of the leadership for WRAR and eager to make an impact for local property owners and my fellow REALTORS®. The next three years will be filled with tremendous challenges from legislative issues to the launching of the Regional MLS, but I am excited and ready to lead this great organization and group of professionals,” says Johnson.
WRAR President Sherri Pickard affirmed Johnson as an outstanding selection to lead WRAR into the future. “As a past Board member and consistent volunteer, Neal brings great passion, commitment and experience to his new role with us. We are truly fortunate to have Neal as part of our leadership team.”
Also joining the Board of Directors in 2016 are Debbie Lariviere with Keller Williams Realty (pictured center below) and Fred Gainey with Wilkinson ERA Real Estate (pictured right below). Lariviere and Gainey will both serve three-year terms lasting until 2018.
